Away I go

So, I've packed all day, know I'm forgetting stuff, and my house is a mess. I know that at least my rats will be taken care of, I have tickets to get places, and I can survive at least 3 days, so, I've probably done worse. I plan on updating my trip details weekly but here is a synopsis of what I know so far:
1- I'm going to India for 2 Months.
2-The first month I'll be hanging with 8 other Purdue vet students, mostly in Bangalore and other parts of south India.
3-We will have a mixture of pathology and epidemilogy lectures, clinical practice experience, working with a variety of animals from dogs, to lions, to elephants, to water buffalo, to tigers, to goats, to bears (dancing bears to be specific).
Overall, there is a lot of amazing going on. I don't know much about what is in store for us, other than some pretty rustic atmosphere, and knowing you don't use your left hand, or want to take things from people that use theirs for sanitation purposes. But I have all my shots and meds, so excitement is surly on it's way!
